What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
